Dr. Patrick T. Wilson is a board-certified pediatric dentist dedicated to providing exceptional children’s dental care in New Hampshire. With over 20 years of experience, he is passionate about creating positive dental experiences that help children feel comfortable, confident, and excited about their oral health.

Originally from Centennial, Colorado, Dr. Wilson completed his undergraduate education at Haverford College before earning his dental degree from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine. While at Tufts, he met his wife, Dr. Kate Wilson, and together they began a journey of service and care that would shape his career.

Following dental school, Dr. Wilson served in the United States Army, completing an advanced general dentistry residency during a four-year tour in Germany. He later deployed to Iraq with the 464th Medical Company, where he provided dental care to coalition forces, refugees, and detainees. This experience reinforced his commitment to compassionate, patient-centered care.

After his military service, Dr. Wilson pursued specialized training in pediatric dentistry through The Children’s Hospital program in Colorado, where he developed advanced skills in treating infants, children, adolescents, and patients with special healthcare needs. He later practiced in the Denver area for nearly a decade before relocating to New Hampshire to be closer to family and serve the local community.

Today, Dr. Wilson leads Great Outdoors Pediatric Dentistry in Somersworth, providing trusted kids dentist services to families throughout Dover, Rochester, and surrounding communities. His approach focuses on prevention, early detection, and safe, effective treatment, helping children build healthy habits that last a lifetime.

Known for his calm demeanor and child-friendly approach, Dr. Wilson is committed to making every visit a positive experience. Parents appreciate his ability to connect with children, explain care clearly, and create an environment where kids feel safe and supported.

Outside the office, Dr. Wilson enjoys spending time with his family and staying active through skiing, hiking, biking, fishing, and traveling.
